BLACK WIDOW

As previously announced, at the beginning of February the CACTyou! Fanzine #1 made by Aglaia Haritz will be finally released. For this number the Swiss artist got inspiration from the true story of Dzhennet Abdurakhmanova, 17 y.o., suicide bomber in 2009 in the Moscow underground. Because of her assault 40 people died and 90 had been injured. Dzhennet Abdurakhmanova was widow of a young Islamic terrorist. Aglaia Haritz recalls chronologically the story of this “black widow” until the underground attack. She does it, following her artistic style, by sewing fabrics and newspaper’s articles.As usual the Fanzine contains a numbered special edition.

HOLY LAND to HOLLAND

Aglaia is very happy to announce that the exhibition "Holy Land", in collaboration with photographer Reto Albertalli, will be shown in Winkel (NL) at the "Galerie Wegert & Sadocco". Both the authors will be present for discussing their work on february the 26th. You are all warmly welcome!
